Plant ID please
in Plants
My MIL is very good at growing cuttings for our garden but she's not sure what this one is. I want to choose an appropriate spot for it, so it would be helpful if someone can ID it. Thanks!

I don't know if you have oleanders in the UK, but your plant sure looks like an Oleander to me, as the leaves are spiked and pointed on the ends like Oleander leaves. They were all over the place on the Texas Gulf Coast where we lived for 30+ years. If it is indeed an oleander, it would want full sun, lots of space to sprawl and to be pruned hard (nearly 3/4 back) each year so it would send out more and more branches, s it blooms on the ends of each branch. I cared for over 50 of them in my back garden on the coast and I cut them back hard each year and they just got thicker and prettier each year. When not pruned hard, they tend to get scruffy, thin, lanky and bloom very little.
