Protecting soft fruits from birds

So I have a new border below...
My question is how best to protect the soft fruits from birds. I understand cramming in so much in a border doesn't make this easy.
On the left is a redcurrant, in the middle a Falstaff apple tree on M26 root stock and on the right a blackcurrant. Along the front and sides are strawberries and onions. Along the back are sweetpeas and along the center of the border are spinach seedlings.
Possibly round cages over the currants and then low long cages the length of the strawberries. I guess I'll just leave the apple tree.
Thanks for any thoughts

I grow strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, black currants, figs and pears.
I don't net or take any precautions to guard against birds other than to stick a few children's glittery seaside windmills in the ground around the gooseberries and blackcurrants as they're getting ripe.
Never had any problems ................ so far so good any way.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
cheers both!
