Hydrangea Leaf Issues

Hello all,

I have a hydrangea in a pot. It did fine last year, and there is a second one that I'm treating exactly the same. But the leaves have started to curl.

Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

Have you got that inside, it looks like the sun has scorched it, if in, it's got to go out very quickly, not in the sun, they do better in the shade.

If the roots haven dried out you can cut the tatty bits off and it will shoot out again.

    Thanks Lyn,

No it's outside, in a place which catches afternoon sun. I'll move it to somewhere a bit shadier!

Keep it well watered and in the shade, especially when they are young.  Does it need repotting, if so ,do it now before it puts on too much growth.

Thanks. I potted it on a couple of weeks ago. I'll keep it in a shadier spot. I think that might be the answer as the other one looks fine and that's in a shadier place.
