Weed or flower ?

in Plants
Could someone tell me please is this a flower or weed. It does look like a buttercup but isn't. Its very invasive. Its taken over in my flowerbeds. When it dies off there is nothing to be seen. Its getting a real nuisance now. I would like to get rid off it.

Lesser Celandine. It is a flower but one that's considered a weed.

it's Celandine - you'll need to dig it up if you don't want it :-) or use weedkiller ..
Thank you I need to get rid. Any ideas please ?
Its virtually impossible to get rid of. As you say it will die back and disappear in Summer only to return again in Spring. Its fairly resistant to most weedkillers too. I don't mind it as the yellow flowers are a good food for early foraging bees and I have learned to live with it.
Thanks I agree about the bees. Thank you anyway.
I also live with it, It's almost gone already

I have actually seen it for sale in a garden centre. But I'd dig up as much as you can as its very invasive.
Yes I do try thanks. It spreads like wild fire.
