Whats Next?

I have a small green house and I was told to leave it open in the daytime, and close at night. The daytime heat dries my plants out by the time I close it at night. Am I suppose to water them everyday in the evening or what?

Why don't you put up some shading? You will still have to water but your plants will be healthier and happier.

  • My greenhouse is small and i zip it close in the evening but the plants looks dry from the day sun. Also can you transplant plants more than once? Should i spray everyday before i zip up the greenhouse?

You should certainly water when they are dry. Mornings and evenings are good times to do it. Yes, you can transplant more than once but it is better avoided. Potted plants can be repotted or planted out as you wish. Some are more sensitive than others so look up the individual needs first.

The plastic greenhouses are a bit hopeless in that respect weeney. image

The temperatures fluctuate far more than in a 'proper' greenhouse. If you can, it might be worth moving it somewhere so that it isn't getting full on sun at the hottest part of the day, or provide a little screen in fornt of it to give it a bit of a break from the heat until your plants are a bit bigger - and in bigger pots -  and can cope better.  When you water - water them thoroughly and not on the foliage if possible.

You also have to be more vigilant with ventilation with them unfortunately. Good luck with it though - the plastic ones require a bit of extra attention.
