Fours seasons lemon tree

I've been given a beautiful 80cm high Four Seasons standard lemon tree. I've never heard of this type before and wonder if you wonderful people can give me some tips? It's in a SW facing sun room at the moment and as I live in the south of England, is it ok to put it out on my west facing patio for the summer, and from when?

Many thanks. ????

Resurrecting this post as my lemon tree did well in my conservatory until January when it started dropping a load of leaves. Its still alive now and has around 7 ripening lemons but looking a bit sad with some bare branches. I’ve put it out during the day so it can soak up a bit of this unseasonal sunshine but will it recover and grow new leaves? I should add that the remaining leaves are at least glossy and green so that gives me some hope!

    Many thanks. 😊

Thanks Philippa, is it mild enough now to leave him outside overnight - providing there’s no frosts forecast?! My patio is west facing and is very sheltered.

Good idea - attached photo. You can see the bare stems but I’m not sure if it’s wishful thinking but is that new growth on the leaf nodes?

Well, he (must think of a suitable name - maybe Keith Lemon 🤔 ) has had a lot of time outside whilst we had those glorious hot sunny days last week but I’ve brought him back into my west facing conservatory as the nights have been very chilly. During the day, Keith’s had lots of warm sun through the glass and, as well as Babybio citrus food, I’ve given him a seaweed drink. In the last couple of days, I have noticed he is forming flower buds all the way down his bare stems but not leaves. Once Keith has finished flowering, will the leaves follow as I’d quite like to see his bare limbs eventually covered.

Also, do I need to bite the bullet and remove his lemons formed last year because is it possible he is using unnecessary energy on them?

    many thanks.
