Moss killer

please can anyone tell me if they have had moss killer made by minstrel, used on their roofs and if it will cause a problem with water run off into the water butt?
Also should I cover some of the plants close to the roof that is being treated?
I the men are here now, but haven't started to spra.

Hi little Poll. I don't know the answer, I'm afraid, but tried googling it and got a company called Mistral who make moss killer. The product I looked at there said "cover water butts and ponds" but it would probably be best to ask the people doing the treatment if you can see the instructions on the product so you know what to do.
Thank you 'Singing Gardener', I too looked at the web site for the product (It is Mistral that they would be using) and feel unhappy at the idea of its use and unless anyone comes along to say they have had it done, with no problems, then I think we will say no to the treatment.
