Help I.D this plant

image

Can anybody help identify this plant please. I'm clearing the entire garden so it's not pne of my own. Is it worth keeping/moving? Thank you

(don't be fooled by the bluebells pushing through it, they are flipping everywhere!)

It's an aquilegia Tom. I like them but others don't.  Let it flower then decide whether to keep it or not.

Aquilegia. It's probably seeded about anyway.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Yes, aquilegia or granny's bonnet.   Lots of lovely colours, often two toned, but they're promiscuous and cross pollinate and can end up just being a rather muddy pink.   You'll have to let it flower to see if it's a keeper.

  • Thanks for the help all, I have an aquilegia potted so I'll see how this one looks in bloom!
