Can someone identify this weed/plant, its growing everywhere

Hello,

I just started gardening for the first time ever last week, can someone identify this weed/plant, its growing everywhere, they have very very long roots.

    Tree seedlings, most likely sycamore.  There have been lots of postings about them lately, obviously a 'good' year for them.  Pull them up before they grow any more leaves.  They won't survive that, so if all of the roots don't come out, there is no need to worry as they won't regenerate from roots.

    Thank you for this, doing a search its definitely Sycamore, I am in the office now, as soon as I get home I will see where the main tree is, from memory I can't remember if there is any Sycamore trees around. Will report back, possibly its coming via the squirrels that causes havoc every night.

    They're the ones with winged seed so can fly a long way from mum without any help from squirrels.   Easy enough to pull out at this stage.
