Aver tree half dead, half alive!
in Plants
I have a three year old acer tree, planted in the garden when it was already about 4' tall. It has done well until this year and is 6'. Now in leaf I have noticed that half is looking healthy and the other half is completely bare. I assume that any feed would benefit both sides of the tree, having given it some fertiliser pellets a few months ago as recommended. Any ideas anyone as to what the problem is or what I should do?

Do you have a picture? It could be verticillium wilt.
