Can anyone identify this caterpillar? Only found out too late that they had decimated my about to flower Dodecatheon pulchellum. We also found one after it had eaten much of a prized Heuchera.

I've just read that it likes nearly all herbaceous plants. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Funnily enough, we found a pupa today but didn't know what it was, and it turns out it is the pupa of the aforesaid moth, so now we know what they look like at all stages.
