Help identifying trees and climber
Hi,
I've been living in my house for over a year and really need to get to grips with the garden. It strikes me that I don't really know what a lot of stuff in my garden actually is!
There are two trees at the bottom of my garden of the same type that I'd like to chop down (well I have 6 there, 3 lovely blossom trees which I'll keep, two indeterminate evergreens, and a leylandi - which are all squashed together)
Anyway, the evergreens are really wide and dead inside but I really don't know what they are. I thought perhaps Irish Yew, or more likely Irish Juniper (juniperus vulgaris hibernica). The leaves are really tiny.
Could anyone confirm/deny?

I also have a flowering climbing plant that has absolutely taken over one corner of the garden. I need to know what it is so to know when best to cut it etc. I did cut it back a bit last autumn but it's going mad. My house will be engulfed soon if I'm not careful!

Thank you so much!!
Yay, I was right on the juniper front!
The climberl looks like a Honeysuckle (Lonicera) and is a truly beatiful plant with magnificent and highly-scented flowers.
