Looking much better already! Some planters and a table and chairs soon transform it into a space you want to spend time in. Freecycle and the like will turn up all sorts of stuff. Depending on the length of your rental contract, apart from the cost of paint, if you need to buy anything, focus on things you can take with you when you move on.
