I am waiting until "The nurseryman with a pitch on the corner by Boots" (Crewe.) He brings his plants on market day. All his plants look strong and well cared for.
The last two lots of plants have been really good, sturdy small tomato plants for outdoor pots. The ones he gets seem a lot better grown than many of the lanky floppy offerings in the big GCs. (Probably the end of this month for toms.)

Don't fuss over them too much. It's easy to think they're harder to grow than they actually are.
If they're going in the plastic growhouse, ventilation is the single most important thing as it's harder to prevent fluctuating temps with those.
