Hello everyone
i am new to apple trees but know a thing or two from books and I have my own inherited apple tree in my back yard I have been learning about.
My question is this, I am looking for an apple to grow which is medium to large in size if possible red and maybe a Fair keeper. anyone have recommendations based on personal experience? Tasting Etc?

Apple Trees seem great as I have wild black berries in my Garden but I am a Novice Garden , Would love to reach in a few years the skills required to grow an apple tree , But alas my soil is pebbly and my garden is shady. I am from the Uk
