How to care for Cordylines

I have a couple of 'red'  Cordylines (sorry can't find label) in pots that are not looking great ( dry faded leaves at bottom) is this normal? if so, do I cut them off? What is the best way to look after these plants with regard to feeding etc. thanks.

Just remove the faded/damaged leaves. Fish blood and bone with a mulch of compost should be fine. I dont grow cordylines but they do grow trunk and the lower leaves do faded and droop  , some can get very tall. They are not totally hardy in this country either, that whey it maybe be looking a bit sad at the moment.
