Evergreen
I have had this bush for over ten years and never had a problem !! So why is it now being eaten alive !! There are a lot of what looks like bees flying round it all day !! Please help how can I save it thank you

What is the plant Frances? It's hard to tell from the pic. It looks vaguely like a Pulmonaria but you said a 'bush' so that makes me wonder.
Bees don't harm plants as such, although the holes round the edges look like those made by leafcutter bees - so if it is - you should be rejoicing that you have them!
The plant will recover, so don't worry
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Possibly leaf cutters, but isn't it a bit too early for them to be laying eggs? The bush is Laurel.
