Evergreen in large pots

I have evergreen plant in large pots ---they have developed yellow leaves with brown spots ---edges of leaves look as though being eaten (cant see anything on leaves) ?
Help required please

Not great on plants !! think its just Laurel hedging ----yes watered regular, but haven't fed them --had them around 9/ 10 months
