Rocket bolted?

Hi, I have grown some rocket in the greenhouse, we have a slug problem so the aim was to grow it slightly bigger before planting out. I've been away for a few days so a friend has been watering the greenhouse for me but the rocket now seems to have bolted, shoukd I start again or nip off the top and plant out?

I'd start again.  They tend to go woody very quickly once they start going to seed - but the seeds are quick to germinate.  If you grow them in small modules you can plant them out as soon as they're big enough - Monty Don grows his to 3" tall, then plants them out 6" apart.  They're less likely to bolt if there's less competition between the plants.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
