Tomato grow bags

Should I perforate the underside of grow bags? The bags will be placed on unperforated grow bag trays.
The instructions on the grow bags (Levington's grow bags) say do not perforate, but I have perforated grow bags in previous seasons, because I believe this is what other grow bag suppliers recommend.
I will also be using the rings that sit on the grow bags.
Any advice?
