Dropping leaves?

Anyone know what's wrong with this? I've just bought it from Ikea, last week. it was really dry when I bought it and I soaked it, had a few leaves that looked like they dropped before I bought it but there has been a few white milky drop like things on it. It turns really sticky.

I think it is some form of Ficus. The leaves drop when there are changes in conditions.
The milky sap comes from pruning or knocking off leaves and is very irritant so be careful. It looks like you have it on a changing mat?
