Orange Blossom Dying

Hi All

I think I've killed my lovely Orange Blossom.  I had a mad pruning session in the Autumn/early Winter on several plants and now realise I shouldn't have touched this one!

The leaves are all turning yellow, I assume there is no hope?!

The ground is like concrete to be honest and I can barely get a fork into the ground - something I will be rectifying this year, however I assume the demise of my shrub is purely down to bad pruning?  Any advice welcome.image

    Hi

Choisya shrubs can be pruned quite hard in early spring, even in January. You will hopefully see new growth at the base when you pruned it back. It should bounce back. Give it a good multch of bark chip or garden compost at the base and scatter and dig in some bone meal to the surrounding ground prior to mulching.

    Hi Greenfingers Steve!

Thank you for your very welcome advice!  OK, I'll try what you suggest.....just can't remember seeing it look totally yellow before.

Fingers crossed it'll bounce back image  I'll look again at the base in case I missed the new growth...image
