hi if i grow a hydrangea petiolaris in a container will it stop it being too vigorous i would like it to just grow over a seating harbour can i control that
I would put it in the ground. New plants are slow to start growing but will then speed up as it gets establishe. Easy to give it a light prune at the end of its flowering period to keeps its shape and stop it running riot. Don't over prune or you could restrict its flowering next year.
To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.
