Advice on planter

 I'm thinking of planting a  gerbera with some fuschias in a pot, diameter is 18". 

Will this work, or will they outgrow the pot as see they spread?

    Hi Metalmama. Are you thinking of a hardy gerbera and hardy fuchsias?

    I think that the large leaves of the Gerbera might swamp the fuchsias as you would have to have small fuchsias to go in a pot that size.
