Tree has gone brown

  • It looks like they are planted really close together maybe the soil has got dry and depleted and cannot sopport all three.

    such a shame.

    Cold wind/ frost?  Is that tree the one which gets full impact from the prevailing wind?

    Nick - thank you for your message ... if, as you say, that tree is in the lee of the other two, then I suspect that the problem may be due to lack of water, as Chrissy has suggested.

    Last autumn was quite dry at least here in East Anglia, and we've also had a very dry spring.
