Celery problem

imageHi. I am new i gardening so far I alreadt grew some tomatoes, squash and lemon. I just recently grew this celery that I bought from the grocery. At first she was fine the leaves look healthy then i just noticed now it looks like dying. I planted it in a plastic bottle container which is self watering with potting soil. I don't know what to do. I need help. (By the way some baby tomatoes grew around the celery from the compost i made .)Thanks! :)

I don't understand what you are trying to do image Have you stuck a celery stalk in a pot of compost?  That's not how celery grows. I'm afraid it will just rot. image

you need to grow celery from seed, it doesn't grow from cuttings

thanks for the reply. Yeah i think thats what happened. The lower part did rot. It was a porting soil I used even before maybe I just put a lot of fruit and vegetable peelings as fertilizer.

thanks for the advise will keep that in mins next time ;)
