  • Hi! Thanks so much everyone!

So zenjeff- do you own "shropshire seaweed"?

I did try and contact the company twice with the contact us form with no response...

Anyway I now have the spray bottle, (thanks nutcutlet!)  and will also try it on the roots...

Pete8 - what kind of spray could I use on my star jasmine for the scale insect do you think? I'm committed to keeping the garden chemical free & organic...

Thanks again guys! Its really lovely having this forum as I'm a fairly new gardener plus juggling it with 2 jobs and being a full time student so it's wonderful to have your knowledge available image

    The Shropshire Connection

So, how did a landlocked county produce a seaweed company?

Over 100 miles from the nearest coastline, Shropshire is the last place you'd expect to find a seaweed company.

I agree with querying how Shropshire can have seaweed, but you're a bit out with your distance.  Closest point in Shropshire to the sea is about 25 miles.  The furthest point from the sea anywhere in the UK is about 70 miles.
