cutless for hedges
you used to be able to buy a product called CUTLESS which you sprayed on your hedges after cutting, you then only had to cut your hedge once maybe twice a year really good stuff. Can you still buy it or anything like it?

If you can't find it on a google search it probably doesn't exist now. Can't imagine cutting a hedge more than twice a year anyway. Once does ours quite satisfactorily
In the sticks near Peterborough
Unfortunately no longer available as pansyface says. I'm not aware of any other product which does the same thing. As for not cutting a hedge more than twice a year - we had to cut my mother's privet hedge every 6 weeks or so to keep it under control.
Yes KT. Frequent trimming is needed for my front garden privets throughout the summer to keep it in check. We'd struggle to get down the path if we let it go wild
