The giant artichoke.. has anyone grown it themselves? Thoughts & opinions? Looks rather captivating & may incorporate it into the wildlife garden for the bees.

    Mark, if you go to the nursery to buy one, rummage round until you find one with nice foliage. They vary tremendously.  I picked this one because it had nice "cut" leaves.
