Peony

Lorna95Lorna95 Posts: 436

Hi, I bought a peony two weeks ago,  I have it in a cold greenhouse. I have been putting outside during the day and back in the greenhouse during the night. Can someone tell me when I should plant it out please.  Thank you.

Paeonies are hardy plants (or the ones generally available are), they don't need a GH. Plant it out

    In the sticks near Peterborough

i have some bare root peonies that I potted up for a while and planted out a couple of weeks ago and they appear to be ok. I'm in the NW and it's generally mild here. The garden centres are selling them so I'm sure you'll be ok to plant them out now. Just don't plant too deep.

Life's tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.
