Ah, south Suffolk - Constable country ... my daughter's in Ipswich ... that's as far south as I usually get. I used to live in the Mid/North/Coastal area if that makes sense.
That red doesn't last for long, it's glorious for a week or so then it's gone. It's not a colorur I'd want a lot of in my garden for very long, but for a brief spell it can light up the garden in the low autumn sunshine.
