Our Rowen tree is not showing any signs of life yet. Is this quite normal for early April ?

mine is in leaf and almost in flower
In the sticks near Peterborough
It depends where you live. Mine has only shown signs of life in the past couple of weeks.
Same as Nut, lots of leaves and flowers about to open in South East.
Mines only just started doing anything (Yorkshire)...
John, are there buds present on your tree? They should be there from early on.
