Agapanthus

Does anybody know what's happening to imagemy agapanthus plants- they all seem to be quite ill looking. I'm not sure if it's related or just a coincidence but my angels fishing rod plant seems to be suffering too?

Any help would be much appreciated.

They look more like alliums to me.  Bit early for agapanthus to be putting on flower buds in the UK.

It could be frost damage or lack of moisture.  Try removing the damaged leaves at the base with a  sharp knife or secateurs and then give a drink laced with a  bit of liquid seaweed or tomato fertiliser.

they would have to be alliums, and their leaves die back when they are about to flower.

  • Thank you for your reply. You are right, they are Alliums! I am very much a novice and I do confuse agapanthus with alliums often!

I shall try out your suggestions, thanks again.

    kind regards
