    Oh thats interesting Sheps, finding this before id spent the money would have been good! Im not sure though...i can't see it on govt website. 

    Nice pic. I do like to see them, but not in my garden!

    They're really nice in a crockpot too. image  Six to eight hours with a bunch of veg and half a bottle of lager and a stock cube.

    Aye i have been to the police, and thats correct you are not allowed to release them. Wish i hadnt bought the live trap now, bit stupid.

    Then the best and kindest thing to do if you need to be rid of it, is to find someone who knows how to dispatch it humanely.  

    If you're in a rural area ask the local pub landlord ..  he or she will probably know someone, or know someone who does.

    Let this be a warning to anybody tempted to buy any sort of trap.  Please work out beforehand what you are going to do with whatever you catch.  This applies to squirrels, rabbits, rats, magpies and mice; or anything else.

    When we trap any small animal my wife and I dispose of them humanely and safely by putting them in a bag and simply sitting on them until they expire. This is safe and clean and very easy to do by anyone.
