Qualcast Handheld Trimmer Mystery

Ive got a handheld 3.6v grass trimmer with Qualcast on the side. When I phoned website connected to Qualcast, the tech team say that they don't make this trimmer and that its just a brand name used by other companies. Ive lost the mains charger adapter and no-one seems to know where I can get a replacement. Tried Homebase, Maplins, Halfords, Local electric shop, etc etc but no-one knows anything about this. 3.6v chargers seem very rare and I cant find one. What size volt and ah should I or can I use and where the hell do I find one. Looked at variable volt charges but they cost a fortune. Anyone help with what size I need, if I have to have a certain size, and where to get one!! Thanks Simon

Hi, what's the model number of the trimmer? Is there one on the charger also / can you post a pic of it?

I think Qualcast is linked with Argos and may be owned / manufactured by Bosch if that helps.

  • Havent got the charger hence needing a replacement. Thanks anyway

Isn't there a label on the trimmer stating what charger should be used.  Most will have the voltage etc on there somewhere.  Multi power chargers are available, with a variety of ends too.
