I found it growing under a rhododendron, could it be a shrub of somekind?

Thanks for that Dave/Hazel, just out of interest how does it suddenly appear in my garden , do they grow from seed?
Birds eat the berries and drop the seeds. We get a fair number of seedlings from our own Laurels.
