Growing 2 tomato's in a pot?

I've got 2 tomato's in this pot should i kill one or let them both live and get a bigger harvest. Also when should i transplant it outside?

    Split them up and repot them both. 

    Mine don't go outside until June.  


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I would split them up if you can. I made a bad mistake of growing three tomato plants in a large whiskey barrel last year and the toms were doing great untill they got really big and started putting out fruit, thats i noticed blight on the stems. If they are too close together they wont get good air circulation which tends to cause disease.
