Fig Problem

Chrisp1Chrisp1 Posts: 39

I brought a small fig about 4 years. Then a couple of years ago I re-potted it. I was going to re-pot it again this year but I've noticed a fig growing on it. It's only about 18" high

Now should I forget about potting it, remove the fig and re-pot it. Or just pot it anyway?

Any advice please.

That pot looks big enough for that plant. If you overpot it , you get a lot of leaf and no fruit.

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm not that worried about the fruit. I am intending to eventually plant it outside in the garden.

If you plant it in the garden, remember to restrict its roots.
