    Lovely. I love that night-flowering phlox - does it have a fragrance?

    Thanks Tesni, the pics were quite a trial!

    Beaus mum, not sure about magic touch although I've seen some garden fairies on another thread, maybe it was them ( but I reckon they only come one day a year).

    auntyrach, they smelled fantastic a

    last year, no smell today when I took the photo but give me half an hour and I'll have a night smell test for you!

    Looking fantastic Mrs garden! image love phlox just planted five, 3 amethyst and 2 pink with dark pink edges called bright eyes, lidls bargains as root stocks. 99p image camelea is a gorgeous colour too!

    Well, those phlox are a winner if they smell as good as they look. I have a jasmine that only 'smells' in the evening - I wonder if it's to attract moths? I will do some reading...
