    Hmm.....a puzzling one.  Old photo?

    Looks like "ageratum" grown in some kind of plant tower.

    That's what I think too, lots of Ageratum plants in a plant tower.

    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

  • Thanks all. It was just a pic I found on the Internet and liked it so wanted to know what it was as I might try to recreate

    Doesn't grow that tall naturally dtagg.  One plant is about 12 to 18 inches tall in my experience. A half hardy annual grown for summer colour. 

    The photo shows lots of plants grown in a tower, like a giant vertical hanging basket effect.
