Hi Folks, I bought some hanging begonia corms and want to plant them in my 21 inch hanging basket. How many should I plant which I guess the distance between each is what I am after. Any advice much appreciated.

Thank you very much for that. I did not wish to over plant them so I think I will stick with 5 the basket is one which gas 12 other apertures which I am intending to insert Thumbelina Trailing petunias in to produce a really full display around June and July time through to September.
Hopefully it will be stunning always keep them out in the rear garden until full bloom then surprise the neighbours with shazam a brilliant colourful display of Blue Red Blue.

Yes I will post a photo when they are in full bloom and thanks again. Off to Spain tomorrow for a wee break. Although the sun has been excellent here in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

At the risk of being a pain, do you know if Margareta's come back into bloom each year I bought 2 last year and they are in 2 large pots but died off in October/November and are bare sticks now. Will they regenerate or should I dispose of them\/

Thank you for that info. I will see how it is when I return from Poiente' which is about a mile outside Benidorm. Just sufficient distance to ensure we do not suffer from the excitement of folk partying the night away, too old for that now.
