I am a novice. Does anyone know what is wrong with my hedge I have noticed in the past at spring time a kind of mucus resembling spittal seems to form on the hedge & disappears after a while leaving a white powdery residue, late last year the hedge shed all its leaves & has not grown back, is there anything I can do, the surrounding hedges seem OK for now.
