Identifying animal poo in flower bed

Hi all, since weeding a flower bed and planting some spring bulbs, an animal has left huge droppings in the flower bed twice in one week, presumably overnight. I'm struggling to match their appearance with descriptions of potential culprits, so wondered if anyone could kindly help? I have seen foxes in the garden so assume it is fox as it seems far too big for a cat, but it doesn't seem to entirely match fox poo descriptions. The whole dropping both times has been about the size of a saucer, and both were in the same flower bed, not covered over. It looks  almost like dog poo but I can't imagine how a dog would have got in the garden. Thank you very much for any help you can give.image
