How long will a Passion Flower last in a pot? What size of pot is best? Will it spread as much as one grown in the ground? What kind of trellis is best for it to twine around?

Agree with Philippa - ours was in a pot and outgrew it in 2 years flat.
Then we planted it in the ground (not my garden) and it climbed to about 8 meters in a couple of years

Thanks for that. It is just as I thought. As it is for my daughter I won't advise it.
