Hi guys,
I bought some bare root Aquilegia today which have already sprouted in the bag. They look quite alien like Should I cut them back or leave them alone?
Thanks

I would leave them alone - they'll green up and adjust to the light and better living conditions
Give them a good soak and keep them in bright conditions. They will not need heat, and are better off outside or in a coldframe. They will soon green up.
Thank you
Have put them somewhere bright so hopefully they will green up tomorrow with the nice weather that is predicted.
It may take a few days to green up. Don't worry.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
