Orange Tree - Leaves turning brown?

Hello,

I have had this orange tree for two years, and in December 2016 the leaves started to turn brown. I typically water three times a week, and I add a drop of citrus fertilizer per week as well.

I have a gravel tray underneath the plant so that the water can drain out, and not cause root rot (hopefully!) She lives by my window, with a nearby window open, and the temperature is roughly 14 degrees.

I have recently repotted her at previous advice - the diameter of the pot increased by 3cm, and used soil that was designed for citrus plants again. Having just checked her roots now for root rot, they don't seem to have spread into the new soil at all, and are still in the shape of the old pot.

I have included two pictures of her roots and leaves - any help would really be appreciated!

    Hey Philipa,

No, she doesn't live there most of the time - I've included the picture of where she normally lives, I moved her there to take the picture for better contrast.

Didn't tease the roots out - will do so now, as well as pruning the tips!

And don't worry about being negative, I just want her to get better :)image
