Bought this plug from the GC today labelled simply as

"Hanging Vinca".  Is it really a Vinca? For shade or sun,

for wet or dry? Thanks.

Could it be this type of thing?

Scroll to bottom of page for pic with flowers.  Found this via a google search, never seen it personally.

Edit: click on images, next to overview at bottom of page to see the flowering pic.

    I messed the link up

The link worked Kitty - you're better than me anyway - I can't get links to work at all  image  image

The flowers on Dimwit's pic looked quite 'fleshy' - but the foliage does look the same. Perhaps it's the angle of the pic....

I agree with the snadragon-y flowers. Are'nt vinca leaves (which I don´t know) shiny like Catharanthus'?

The flowers also remind me of Thunbergia erecta, but are my eyes being blurred by the sight of them?

Don't look like my vinca - my vinca flowers are 'flatter' - that one has a more pronounced dunk in the middle (technical term) image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Based on your comment DW, try Thunbergia grandiflora variegata.

I can't claim responsibility DW, you said Thunbergia, by then I was determined to find the answer image
