Looking to try and identify a old green vegetable

When I was a lad, about 60 years ago, my dad had a green vegetable that came back year after year, it was a very strong flavoured dark green when boiled\ steamed, reportedly very high in Iron, pretty sure he called it markberry, markberry, markberry???. If it could be identified I would love to grow it again if it is still available?!

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.????????

My guess is that it's Good King Henry, also known as Markery amongst many other names.

"All Good, Markery, Mercury, English Mercury, Mercury Goosefoot,
Perennial Goosefoot, Many-seeded Goosefoot, Oak-leaved Goosefoot, Red Goosefoot,
Common Orache, Long-stalked Orache, Spear-leaved Orache,
Prickly Saltwort, Fat Hen or Shoemakers"

The organic gardening catalogue has Good King Henry as well www.organiccatalogue.com. Worth noting they also have a heritage seeds section with many of the old cultivars you may remember.
