What plants?

image

Hello

I hoped someone may be able to tell me what the plants are in the attached picture. It is just the pink flowers (maybe a species of rose) and the tall pink flowers at the back that I would like to find out. I know they are common plants, so please excuse my complete lack of plant knowledge!

I think the pink ones at the back are pentemons

I agree with nut, the tall ones are probably penstemons and I think the ball-headed ones in the planter are very likely pelargoniums, like these:

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thank you both so much! I definitely agree, there is no doubt the tall ones are as you say. I think you're probably right about the bigger blooms - I just hadn't considered that it would be a bloom made up of lots of small flower heads. But you could well be right! Looks like it may be this variety of pelargoniums (attached picture). Thank you  image
