Help with salix flamingo

I have had one of these for 1 year now and it has not grown in size at all,whereas my friend who bought hers at the same time hers has grown such a lot where am i going wrong ?

    Where have you planted it?  In the ground, in a pot?   A lot can depend on location and soil.

    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    You can ask for advice from some offline gardening services that can ride into your garden and take a proper desicion about your hers. In that way there are more chanses to get right solution, becouse specialists will know better that common forum people, even some experienced ones.

     What kind of offline services do u mean, becouse i got almost the same trouble with my soil, so i woundering.
